
Eva-Marie Perissinotto has a Bachelor of Music and PhD from the University of Western Australia. An accomplished operatic performer under her maiden name of Eva-Marie Middleton, her roles have included Composer: Ariadne auf Naxos, Giovanna Seymour: Anna Bolena, Witch/Mother: Hänsel und Gretel, Maddalena: Rigoletto, Musetta: La Boheme, Despina: Cosi Fan Tutte, and Josephine: HMS Pinafore. She has also performed as concert soloist with many West Australian ensembles, for works including Vivaldi Gloria, Mozart Coronation Mass, and Strauss Four Last Songs.
Alongside her love of solo singing is a great joy in choral music, the area of focus for her PhD. She has acted as deputy conductor for Perth Undergraduate Choral Society and at The Basilica of St Patrick, as well as conducting both children’s and college level choirs. Her conducting repertoire includes both the Fauré and Duruflé Requiems. She looks forward to sharing her love of choral music with the Mandurah City Choral Society.
